SKILLED WELDER / FABRICATOR

FABCO is a fast-growing welding and fabrication company serving the commercial and multifamily construction industry in Portland and surrounding areas. Currently, we are looking for motivated skilled welders/fabricators.

Position Objective: Skilled Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for a variety of small fabrication and welding projects that vary in scope.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support manufacturing operations

  • Weld various components using thin wall stainless steel

  • Fabricate and fit custom parts

  • Accurately cut, clean, de-burr, and prep parts for welding

  • Share knowledge and train less experienced welders

  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area

  • Complete basic maintenance on welding equipment

  • Adhere to quality standards while accurately measuring and documenting results

  • Must adhere to Fabco’s safety programs and standards

  • Must be able to do field adjustments/field weld

  • Experienced in structural welding

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in welding or fabrication

  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Lift up to 50 pounds

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Valid drivers license

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: 8 hour shift, Monday - Friday
